# BI

Connect a BI tool over the MySQL wire protocol and your semantic models show up as native tables, with every dimension and measure already defined. Charts, filters, and drilldowns build on the same metrics you ship to APIs and notebooks, so a number on a dashboard matches a number from a Python query.

No SQL in the workbook. No metric definitions duplicated per dashboard.
